I’m Maria Belen Cruz, a Multimedia Journalist passionate about storytelling that connects, informs, and inspires. I currently work as a photojournalist for The Shorthorn Newspaper and a reporter for Arlington Sentinel News at the University of Texas at Arlington.

UTA RADIO NEWS
UTA Radio News is a one-hour live show I’ve been hosting twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday, for the past year on UTA Radio. I produce scripts and anchor the show, which features segments on local and national news, entertainment, and sports alongside a co-host.
Through this experience, I’ve developed strong skills in broadcast writing, on-air delivery, and console operation, while learning how to engage listeners on air.
